Does the app upload my recordings?
No. Your recordings and investigation metadata remain local unless you explicitly export or share them.
Does the app prove paranormal activity?
No. Detection results come from signal-processing methods and must not be treated as proof of paranormal activity.
What hardware does the EMF meter use?
The EMF view uses the magnetometer available in compatible iPhone and iPad devices. Results and availability vary by device.

Overview
EVP Ghost Signal is developed by Sylvain Lafrance. This policy explains how the app handles information used during an investigation.
Data collection and storage
Audio recordings. Recordings are stored locally and are not uploaded unless you explicitly export or share them.
Location data. When enabled, location can be attached to a recording and stored locally. You can disable location access in the app or iOS Settings.
Magnetometer data. Magnetic-field readings used by the EMF feature are processed and stored locally with the related session.
Speech recognition. Transcription is designed to use on-device Apple speech technology.
Purchase information. Any in-app transaction is handled by Apple. The developer does not receive or store payment-card information.
Sharing and retention
The app does not sell personal data. Files leave the device only when you initiate an export or share action. Local data remains until you delete it or remove the app.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Policy changes
Updates to this policy will be reflected by changing the date shown above.

User content
You retain ownership of recordings, notes, bookmarks, and other content you create with the app.
Liability
The app is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer makes no guarantee about analysis accuracy and is not responsible for actions taken based on app output.
Device compatibility
Recording requires microphone access. EMF functionality requires a compatible magnetometer. Availability and performance vary by device.
Governing law
